Oranto Petroleum Ltd invites interested parties to acquire equity in two Cote d’Ivoire deepwater
blocks and participate in drilling of structures in either or both of blocks CI-205 and CI-206 planned for late 2006. The
blocks on offer contain a number of defined prospects ranging in age from Lower Cretaceous Albian to Upper Cretaceous Maastrichtian
and Tertiary Miocene.
The prospects vary in recoverable oil volume from 300 to 2000 MM bbl. All geological requirements
for hydrocarbon plays are present which make the probability of finding oil a very attractive exploration opportunity. Numerous
other large undefined reservoir targets with abnormally high amplitudes also exist in these blocks as upside potential.
Up to 65% equity is available in these licenses for:
Back cost recovery of approximately $11.3 MM spent to date Negotiable signature bonus.
Oranto Petroleum Cote d’Ivoire Blocks CI-205 and CI-206 are located 15 Km south west of the Baobab oil
discovery in waters ranging from 1900 to 3000 m depth. The blocks total over 4000 sq Km in area.
